What is our purpose or responsibility to keep all aware that Andrew, Alexander and Tanner are missing?
About two weeks ago Tom Wait from Channel 7 Detroit News started contacting us to see if he could come out. His purpose was to follow up on reminding our nation to be aware. Our initial response was, "I am not sure, let us talk this over." After putting Tom off for a week and a half we committed to the interview.
About the same time Gina for Detroit News was setting up an interview with Chief Weeks and invited Don, Tanya and myself to be interviewed. We accepted without hesitation this time as we had done a previous interview with Gina and were very comfortable with her.
Our spokesperson, Kathye Herrera sent out an e-mail to inform other interested stations and newspapers that the family was willing to do interviews to keep the nation aware of the missing boys.
What began as two interviews spiraled into one station anouncing this as a "news conference" called by the family of "The Skelton Boys."
This led to a day filled with reporters and cameras. Unfortunatley, this also led to some family members and friends placing many phone calls wondering what is going on, wasn't this just an interview! A few even arrived at the scheduled time and place to support us!
All the previous fears of what a reporter might question us about or try to turn our comments into a negative light disappeared during this conference. They also want to see closure for Tanya, the family.
Today I know I have gained new friends because we said yes to Tom and Gina. I am glad that it spiraled to bring on all the other reporters, they now know our hearts, our fears and that this is about 3 small boys that I am priviledged to be their Grandmother!
God does work in wonderous ways, we are grateful for the technology man has created knowing that God has given the talent and knowledge to enable man to do so. Just to realize that sateliting from the small remote area of Morenci MI our words reach all the way around the world is overwhelming!

We did wonder what was going on! We are also glad you had an opportunity to speak again about the boys. I'm sure nation and worldwide, people were wondering if there was any change. My family continues to pray for your family, specifically for the courage and strength to move forward each day. And praying that you may someday soon learn the truth about where those sweet little guys are. So much love to you.
